Michigan Governor Rick Snyder plans to run for a second term according to various media reports Thursday, despite reports last week doubting Snyder’s intentions.

Snyder, a Republican who campaigned as “One Tough Nerd,” defeated Democratic candidate and Lansing Mayor Virg Bernero last fall and succeeded then-Governor Jennifer Granholm.
