An 18-year-old male student reported his laptop was stolen between 3:35 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sept. 18 from his East Wilson Hall dorm, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The laptop was a silver Apple MacBook Pro valued at $1,000 and allegedly was stolen while the student was not in his room, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student’s roommate was the first person to notice the laptop was missing and said both the door to the room, as well as the door to the shared bathroom, were locked.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
