An 18-year-old female student reported her bike was stolen between Aug. 26 at 10 p.m. and Aug. 27 at 4 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The bike is a 21-speed Next brand valued at $150, but the model is not known, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The bike was locked through the front wheel to the southwest bike racks outside South Hubbard Hall. The lock also was stolen and is valued at $20.
The student lives in South Hubbard Hall, and the bike is registered with the MSU Police Department.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
