A 21-year-old female student reported her bike allegedly was stolen between 11 p.m. Aug. 27 and 3 p.m. Aug. 28, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The bike was a purple and silver 24-speed women’s Diamondback bicycle with a light under the seat and was valued at $500, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The bike last was seen outside Ramp 6 near Grand River Avenue. The bike was not secured to another object but had a lock wrapped through a tire and around the frame. The lock is valued at $20.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
