A 21-year-old female student was transported to Lansing’s Sparrow Hospital after she was injured by a cow at about 2:15 p.m. July 14 at the MSU Dairy Farm, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student, a care technician for the MSU Dairy Farm, was moving a herd of cows into the barn when a cow pinned her against a gate, McGlothian-Taylor said.
After she was freed, she moved behind a wall to avoid being trampled.
She sustained an injury to her upper left arm that was not life-threatening, she then was transported to the hospital in an ambulance by the East Lansing Fire Department.
