July 18, 2011

About $1,690 worth of items allegedly were stolen from three cars parked in the MSU ramp on Grand River Avenue between 4-10 p.m. on July 14, MSU police Sgt. Dan Munford said.

One car was broken into on the fifth floor, and four cars were broken into on the third floor of the garage, Munford said.

A 20-year-old male student reported some of his possessions stolen and damage to his car at about 7 p.m.

A 34-year-old Lansing resident parked in the ramp also reported damage to her vehicle at 10 p.m. July 14.

Officers noticed damage to the other vehicles after the second call.
All five cars allegedly had a broken window.
