Two men allegedly broke into Kellogg Center at about 4 a.m. Wednesday and attempted to steal liquor and beer from a beverage room, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The two men allegedly broke in a window, causing $150 in damage, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Police apprehended and arrested the men as they tried to leave the building with a large trash bin filled with bottles of liquor and beer.
The men were transported to the Ingham County Jail.
The case has been referred to the Ingham County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office.
