A 22-year-old male student reported his laptop stolen around 12:30 a.m. on the second floor in the west wing of the Main Library, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student said he left the building to smoke and upon his return the laptop was gone, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The laptop was described as a white, Apple MacBook with a 13-inch screen. The laptop is valued at $1,200.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
