Student reports clothing stolen

April 21, 2011

A 21-year-old female student reported several items of clothing allegedly were stolen between 6-8 p.m. April 17 at University Village, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student said she left two pairs of pants and two tank tops in the bottom dryer in the laundry room, McGlothian-Taylor said.

When she returned, the items were missing.

One pair of dark blue skinny jeans and a pair of black dress pants, each valued at $20, were reported stolen. The student also left two tank tops — one black and one purple — each valued at $25, in the dryer.

The event still is under investigation.
