A 20-year-old female student reported her drawstring bag, containing a number of personal belongings, stolen from the Phillips Hall basement lounge between 11 a.m. and 1:47 p.m. April 11, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student was taking a nap on one of the couches in the basement, and she left her bag next to her, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When she awoke, her bag was gone. The bag was an adidas drawstring bag valued at $12, and it contained her driver’s license, valued at $15, her social security card, her debit card, a purse valued at $40 and $40 in cash.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
