A 19-year-old male student reported his cell phone allegedly was stolen from his dorm room between 1:30-2 p.m. April 10, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student left his $200 black AT&T cell phone in his room in South Wonders Hall and locked the door, McGlothian-Taylor said.
When the student returned, the door still was locked but his phone was gone.
One of his suitemates said he was out of the room between 12-2 p.m. but he did not lock his door.
The two rooms are adjoined by a bathroom. The student suspects someone might have gone into the suitemate’s room, entered his room through the bathroom and taken his phone.
Nothing was take from the suitemate’s room.
There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
