A 52-year-old male university employee reported his car was broken into and money allegedly was stolen from inside, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The car was a red 1984 Chevy S-10 and it was parked on the first level of Parking Ramp 2 on Auditorium Road, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The man left his car at 9:30 p.m. Monday and returned at 12:15 a.m. Tuesday when he found the passenger-side window smashed in. The damage is estimated at $100.
Upon looking through the car the man found $10 — in change — missing from the center console.
There are no suspects, and the incident is under investigation.
