A 19-year-old female student reported her laptop allegedly was stolen from her dorm room in Hubbard Hall, between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m., Feb. 1, MSU police Sgt. Florene Mcglothian-Taylor said.
The student said she suspects her roommate’s friend — a 19-year-old man from Detroit — stole the laptop while she went to study, Mcglothian-Taylor said.
The laptop is a silver MacBook Pro with a 13-inch screen valued at $1,500.
The alleged thief last was seen wearing a gray and black sweater and black sweatpants.
The incident is under investigation.
