A 19-year-old female student reported her boyfriend allegedly damaged the screen of her laptop during a verbal altercation Feb. 13, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The altercation took place between 1-2:15 a.m. in West Holden Hall, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The boyfriend, a 20-year-old nonstudent from Battle Creek, Mich., allegedly cracked the screen on the student’s black, Hewlett-Packard Pavilion laptop.
The damage is estimated at $800 but no prosecution is being requested by the student at this time.
