A 54-year-old female university employee reported an alleged larceny from a machine between 12:01 a.m. Jan. 31 and 10:30 p.m. Feb. 7, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The machine was a tampon dispenser in the women’s restroom on the first floor of the Computer Center, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee said the machine’s coin box was damaged and all the coins were gone.
The amount and value of the missing coins is unknown but the machine is valued at $400.
There are no suspects at this time and the incident is under investigation.
