A 19-year-old female student reported items allegedly were stolen from her dorm room Feb. 5 between 1:20-10 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student returned to her room in West Holden Hall and discovered the battery from her Dell laptop — valued at $50 — and $150 cash was missing, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student said she locked the hallway door when she left but did not lock the door to the common restroom between her room and the room next door.
There are no suspects at this time and the incident is under investigation.
