A vehicle hit a traffic light at 8:20 a.m. Jan. 15 on Bogue Street, which caused the light to be knocked over onto the sidewalk, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The vehicle was a university-owned Top Cat snow plow and the driver was a 45-year-old female university employee from Laingsburg, Mich., McGlothian-Taylor said.
The employee was plowing the snow off the sidewalk loops by the Business College Complex when she struck the pole.
Because the vehicle was moving, the employee was found at fault. The Top Cat suffered no damage.
