A 20-year-old male student reported his laptop allegedly was stolen from the Computer Center, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student said the laptop, waiting to be repaired, was left in a storage closet at the Computer Center, and when he returned to pick it up, it was no longer there.
The student took his laptop to the Computer Center for repairs at 5:19 p.m. Dec. 30, 2010, and reported the alleged theft at 2 p.m. Jan. 10, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The computer is a silver, 13-inch 2009 Apple MacBook Pro valued at $650.
There are no suspects at this time, and the incident is under investigation.
