The student said when he left his room at 5 p.m. Dec. 17, 2010, the missing items were on his bed and the door to his room in Abbot Hall was locked, McGlothian-Taylor said. When the student returned to his room at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 8, the door was locked but his clothes were not there.

The items included one brown and white polo shirt valued at $30, one brown polo sweater valued at $30 and a pair of black leather dress shoes valued at $80. There were no signs of forced entry into the room.

The incident is under investigation and there are no suspects.
