Student allegedly assaulted Thursday morning
A 20-year-old male student allegedly assaulted his roommate between 3:15-3:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Rather Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 20-year-old male student allegedly assaulted his roommate between 3:15-3:30 a.m. Thursday morning at Rather Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim, a 22-year-old male student, claims his roommate came into the dorm drunk with two friends, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim said he asked them to quiet down after which the two friends left and the suspect began yelling.
The suspect denies hitting his roommate, but the victim had several bruises on his body, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim declined medical attention.
The suspect was arrested on charges of domestic violence and minor in possession of alcohol and was detained at the Ingham County Jail.
