Lucious healing from surgery

September 28, 2010

After undergoing a successful knee arthroscopy for a small meniscus tear in his left knee Tuesday, MSU junior guard Korie Lucious is expected to be out for 2-6 weeks, according to a statement from MSU Athletic Communications.

MSU head coach Tom Izzo said in the statement that Lucious’ injury is similar to the one suffered by Goran Suton during his senior year in 2008. Izzo expects Lucious to heal quickly.

“I feel bad for Korie,” Izzo said. “He’s had a great fall on the court, playing some of the best basketball of his time at Michigan State.”
