The seventh annual CCHA Preseason All-Conference Team was announced Tuesday.
Five teams are represented on the First and Second teams, including MSU.
Krug named to Preseason All-CCHA team
Sophomore defenseman Torey Krug was selected to the Second Team and junior goalie Drew Palmisano was Honorable Mention.
Michigan and Miami (Ohio) each had four players selected to the teams, including Michigan forward Carl Hagelin, who topped all players in voting.
The MSU hockey team opens up its season with the Green and White Exhibition game at 4 p.m. Sunday at Munn Ice Arena.
