Vending machine damaged in Landon Hall

A 54-year-old male MSU employee reported damage to a vending machine inside the west lobby of Landon Hall on July 19, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The snack vending machine was reported to have marks on the side where the inserted money is located, McGlothian-Taylor said. It appeared an unsuccessful attempt was made to get inside the machine.

The machine is black in color, and was valued at $500. The estimated cost of the damage it sustained is uncertain, McGlothian-Taylor said.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
