A 36-year-old woman from East Lansing was in a one-car accident last Thursday afternoon in Lot 79, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
As the woman attempted to leave the parking lot, she turned and struck her 2005 Chrysler Pacifica into a concrete post, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The front quarter panel on the driver’s side of the vehicle sustained the most damage, with a $2,000 estimated cost of repair. The woman did not see the post as she drove, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The concrete post did not sustain damage and there was no other damage to surrounding university property.
