Items stolen from IM Sports-West locker room

Three people reported their belongings stolen from an IM Sports-West locker room on June 22, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

A 27-year-old male MSU student stored his belongings and those of a 26-year-old male from Lansing and a 23-year-old male from Sterling Heights in a locked storage compartment, McGlothian-Taylor said.

After returning from swimming, the victims did not realize the lock was broken and some of their belongings were missing until they left the building, McGlothian-Taylor said.

A combination of $43 and multiple credit cards were missing, McGlothian-Taylor said. The broken combination lock was valued at $5.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
