Vehicle collision near Administration Building damages bike

Two vehicles were involved in an accident May 10 outside the Administration Building’s circle drive, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

A 22-year-old male from East Lansing backed his 2008 Nissan Altima into a 2001 Pontiac four-door with a bicycle attached to its rear, owned by a 47-year-old from Williamston, McGlothian-Taylor said.

Both cars did not receive any damage, but the impact to the blue and gray 2007 Schwinn bike caused minor damage to its rear tire. Damage estimates for the bike are unknown.

The case has been closed by the MSU Police Department.
