Student cell phone missing in Snyder Hall

An 18-year-old female MSU student reported her cell phone missing Saturday in Snyder Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. The student left her dorm room to take out the trash, leaving the door halfway open, McGlothian-Taylor said. Upon returning, she discovered her phone missing from her desk.

The phone is a black Motorola Cliq valued at $200. A laptop computer also was on the desk, but was not taken because it was secured by a lock, McGlothian-Taylor said.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
