Two female MSU employees reported that a vending machine was broken during the weekend on the second floor of Student Services, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The break-in occurred between Friday evening and Saturday afternoon, she said.
The employees said they noticed the door to the machine was open for an extended period of time, but thought it was being serviced, McGlothian-Taylor said. It is unknown what, or if, anything was taken from the machine. Damage to the machine is estimated at $2,000.
There are no suspects and the incident remains under investigation.
