E.L. absentee voter ballots available

April 28, 2010

The East Lansing City Clerk’s office will issue and accept applications for absentee voter ballots from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday as the city prepares for Tuesday’s special general election.

Residents will elect a District 8 commissioner for a partial term ending Dec. 31 for the Ingham County Board of Commissioners.

Saturday is the last day absentee voter ballots can be mailed from the city clerk. Registered voters can vote in person at the city clerk office between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday if they miss the absentee voter ballot application deadline and cannot vote in person Tuesday.
