MSU student reports online hacker
A 20-year-old female MSU student reported her Facebook and e-mail accounts compromised March 18 after an unknown person hacked her accounts, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
Police brief 03/25/10
The student said she was Facebook chatting with a person whom she believed to be someone that she knew.
The person indicated that they were having trouble with their Facebook account and asked the student if they could use her account to check theirs.
The student gave them her password and the person hacked into her Facebook and other accounts and sent vulgar messages to her friends, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The incident is under investigation.
