Student reports size 17 shoes stolen

A 19-year-old male MSU student reported his basketball shoes stolen from Breslin Center between Sunday and Monday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The student said his shoes were stolen from the men’s basketball locker room. The shoes are size 17 green and white Nike basketball shoes. Performance orthotics for his shoes were reported stolen as well, McGlothian-Taylor said.

McGlothian-Taylor said it appears the door to the hallway was open during the day, and the doors were not locked at night.

The shoes are valued at $300 and the orthotics are valued at $150, McGlothian-Taylor said.

There are no suspects and the incident is under investigation.
