Report: MSU student arrested for fake IDs
An MSU student and two University of Michigan students were arrested Wednesday after a package shipped from Canada containing fake IDs was intercepted by immigration agents, The Associated Press reported Thursday.
MSU student Zachary Firestone and U-M students Barak Leibovitz and Samuel Hamburger were arrested after FedEx intercepted the package, which contained 48 fake ID cards, the AP said.
Firestone was arrested when he drove from East Lansing allegedly to pick up 27 of the 48 cards.
The three men have been charged in federal court, the report said.
