MSU student’s valuables stolen from gym

A 29-year-old male MSU student reported various personal belongings stolen at IM Sports-West on Jan. 28, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

The man said he put his belongings in a locker at IM Sports-West between 8:50 and 9:30 p.m. He said when he returned to the locker room, his pants were lying on a bench, and his credit card, driver’s license, $50 in cash and a gift card valued at $50 was taken out of his pants.

His locker still was locked, however, McGlothian-Taylor said it appears the man left his pants out of the locker.

There are no suspects and the incident still is under investigation, McGlothian-Taylor said.
