MSU Recycling expands services

January 19, 2010

Beginning this month, MSU Recycling will now collect #3 through #7 plastics, boxboard and household metals, such as tin. Other collectable materials include white and mixed paper, newspaper, cardboard and #1 and #2 plastic. Household metals will be collected with plastics and boxboard will be collected with mixed paper. All other bins will remain the same.

The MSU Recycling Drop-off Center, located north of the MSU Surplus Store and Recycling Center, is now open 24/7.

Faculty, staff and students can bring recyclables to the center and used recycle bins will be sold at the MSU Surplus Store.

For more information, visit www.recycle.msu.edu or call the recycling hotline at (517) 355-1723.
