City prepares study locations

December 8, 2009

The city of East Lansing is looking to help students find a place to prepare for their upcoming finals.

The city has set aside study “hotspots” at the East Lansing Public Library, 950 Abbot Road, and the East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road. The locations offer quiet work space and free WIFI for students.

The library will open its meeting room up to students from Sunday through Wednesday. The East Lansing Hannah Community Center will set aside meeting space for students from Wednesday, Dec. 9 until Wednesday, Dec. 16.

Those interested should check the city’s Web site, www.cityofeastlansing.com, contact the library at (517) 351-2420 or contact the community center at (517) 333-2580 for the hours these venues will be open to students.
