Phantasmagoria haunts Okemos

October 19, 2009

Phantasmagoria, a collection of three unique haunted houses in Okemos, is back this year covering 18,500 square feet and prepared to provide those willing to enter a frightening experience.

Phantasmagoria is open from 7 p.m. to midnight on Fridays and Saturdays, and 7-10 p.m. Sundays, starting on Oct. 2 and until Oct. 31, with a Kids Day on Oct. 25 and is located in Fun Tyme Park at 3384 James Phillips Drive, in Okemos. The attraction will be open the Wednesday and Thursday before Halloween from 7-10 p.m. and 7-11 p.m., respectively.

The first of the current three Haunted Houses was Purgatory, the home of a family who tortured and killed their victims. Quarantine centers around a mysteriously deserted toxic waste facility and 3-Dementia is filled with optical illusions for a disorienting effect.

The cost for one haunt is $10, but all three can be experienced for $15. For more information, call (517) 882-FEAR or visit www.882fear.com.
