MSU head coach Tom Izzo has a word with freshman guard Korie Lucious as both teams head into a timeout early in Monday night’s NCAA national championship game at Ford Field in Detroit. The first few minuets defined the game, with UNC pulling ahead significantly, and the Spartans struggling to close the gap for the remainder of the evening.
The Spartans finished the 2008-09 season Monday night in the NCAA national championship game, losing 89-72 to North Carolina at Ford Field in Detroit.
