Man injured after being attacked near Shaw Lane
A 19-year-old male student reported being knocked unconscious by a man who asked him if he had a wallet Sunday morning as he walked toward Wilson Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 19-year-old male student reported being knocked unconscious by a man who asked him if he had a wallet Sunday morning as he walked toward Wilson Hall, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The attack occurred near the football practice field off of Shaw Lane. The student received medical treatment for minor injuries after calling police at about 4:40 a.m. Police are investigating the incident as an attempted strong-armed robbery, according to a press release.
The suspect is described as a 5-foot-10 white male, weighing about 185 pounds with brown hair and a buzz cut. He was last seen wearing a plain gray hooded sweatshirt, McGlothian-Taylor said.
