Unidentified man shot, killed in Lansing park
A college-aged man was shot and killed in Lansing’s Hunter Park Sunday afternoon, but it was not known as of Sunday evening whether he had any MSU affiliation, Lansing police Lt. Noel Garcia said.

Garcia said a man in his 20s was shot during a fight in the park just after 2 p.m. He said a large group of people had gathered just prior to the fight, which ended when shots were fired. Police had not yet identified the victim.
Lansing police continued to investigate the scene and interview witnesses on Sunday as they searched for suspects. Garcia said Hunter Park has security cameras, which investigators will use to review the incident.
