New campus group to hold first meeting

The Music & Entertainment Career Association, or MECA, will hold its first meeting at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday in room 131 of Hubbard Hall.

The group is open to all students with interest in a career in entertainment industry management, said communication senior Elizabeth Idemudia, MECA president.

The first meeting will feature radio host Sunshyne from WJLB-FM in Detroit as a guest speaker. She will be available to answer questions and speak about internships with Clear Channel Communications.

Meetings are scheduled to be held biweekly.
