Car broken into in Lot 89
An MSU police officer on patrol in Lot 89, the commuter lot near Farm Lane and Mount Hope Road, spotted a 21-year-old male student’s blue Subaru with a smashed front passenger window during normal surveillance Feb. 2, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The student had his $200 Garmin Global Positioning System and his $300 Revo sunglasses stolen out of the vehicle sometime between when he parked his car on Jan. 18 and when the officer discovered the damage on Feb. 2, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are currently no suspects and the incident is still under investigation, McGlothian-Taylor said.
