One of the students discovered the items missing Thursday at about 10:45 a.m., McGlothian-Taylor said. The student reported that the door was locked when she returned, and police found no damage to the room. The student’s roommate told police she was fairly certain she had locked the door when she left the room Dec. 10.
Items stolen were a Sony flat-screen TV valued at $375, a Toshiba DVD player valued at $75 and seven DVDs valued at $160, McGlothian-Taylor said. The case is still under investigation.
