Credit union seeks board candidates

MSU Federal Credit Union is seeking candidates to fill vacancies left in its board of directors.

A press release to credit union members stated that the current members have nominated three candidates to fill the positions, but anyone wishing to be placed on the list of candidates can do so by presenting a petition with 500 member signatures by Feb. 20.

A spokeswomen for MSUFCU said there are no other requirements to be nominated for consideration for a position on the board.

The current candidates are Ernest Betts, assistant dean of the Multicultural Business and Graduate School of Management at MSU; John R. Brick, MSU emeritus professor of finance; and Thomas Coon, director of MSU Extension.
