Car left overnight in hotel parking lot vandalized
A four-door 2008 Dodge Magnum was damaged at Candlewood Suites on Forest Road between 10 p.m. July 19 and 9:30 a.m. July 20, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.

A 25-year-old male from Tampa, Fla. reported scrapes 3-feet long in the paint on both passenger side doors of the vehicle, McGlothian-Taylor said. The scrapes appeared to be caused by an unknown sharp object.
Both rearview mirrors also were broken off at the base, McGlothian-Taylor said.
Damages to the vehicle are estimated at $600. The suspect is unknown.
