Children’s clothing stolen from vehicle near library
Two bags of children’s clothing from Macy’s, about $80 in value, were stolen from a 2004 Oldsmobile Silhouette in the Main Library parking lot between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
The victim, a 53-year-old female student, said she accidentally left the vehicle unlocked. When she returned, the two bags, which were behind the passenger’s seat, were missing, McGlothian-Taylor said.
In the bags were children’s capris, T-shirts and pajamas, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim notified Macy’s to make sure that no one returned the clothes for cash, McGlothian-Taylor said.
There are no suspects.
