The East Lansing Hannah Community Center, 819 Abbot Road, will begin its summer renovation project Monday.
Changes will include the remodeling of the men’s and women’s locker rooms and shower areas and an expansion of the fitness center to include more cardio equipment.
The locker rooms, shower areas and pool will be closed until renovations are finished. During that time, all of the center’s swimming programs will take place at MacDonald Middle School, 1601 Burcham Drive.
Staff also expects short-term closures of the fitness center later this summer.
Renovations are expected to be finished in time for re-opening the week after Labor Day.
