About $200 worth of damage was done to a wooden door at University Village Apartments sometime around 5 a.m. on May 3, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said.
A 20-year-old male student reported the damage, which appeared to be from a golf club, McGlothian-Taylor said.
The suspect is unknown.
About $175 of personal belongings, including a black leather wallet and a Verizon Chocolate phone, were stolen from a 21-year-old male student who was playing basketball at IM Sports-Circle between 2:15 and 2:40 p.m. on May 1, McGlothian-Taylor said.
He left his wallet, which contained $30 in cash, his driver’s license and student identification, and cell phone next to a wall, McGlothian-Taylor said and returned to find the items missing.
The suspect is a male, age 25-30, approximately 6-foot-1 with black hair, McGlothian-Taylor said. The case is still under investigation.
