The 14th annual Be a Tourist in Your Own Town event is happening this weekend in Lansing and on campus.
Participants who purchased a passport during the month of May for $1 will spend Saturday exploring more than 35 attractions from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
For 50 cents, participants can get their passport stamped and ride Capital Area Transportation Authority buses all day.
This year’s focus is on creating a “greener” Lansing and a more environmentally friendly community.
Participating locations on campus include the Kresge Art Museum and the MSU Dairy Store.
