Clothes stolen from dryer in apartment complex
About $470 worth of T-shirts, sweatshirts and pants were stolen from the laundry building of Cherry Lane Apartments sometime between 11 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. Sunday, MSU police Sgt. Florene McGlothian-Taylor said. A 22-year-old male student reported the theft after waking up Sunday morning to discover some of his clothing missing from the drying machine where he had left them, McGlothian-Taylor said. The victim had checked on his clothes Saturday night, but because they weren’t dry, he left them in the machine and went to bed, McGlothian-Taylor said. There are no suspects in the case and it is still under investigation.
