A hearing before the Michigan Supreme Court for The State News’ lawsuit against MSU is set for March 4 at the Michigan Hall of Justice in Lansing.
The State News will present oral arguments on MSU’s refusal to release police reports from a 2006 assault on campus.
The case was previously heard at the Ingham County Circuit Court in 2006 and appealed to the Michigan Court of Appeals in 2007.
The university has said the reports contain private information exempt from the Freedom of Information Act.
